From lab to language not only describes MbGa Scientific's collective palette of experience, but also our vision that our clients need to establish and maintain a unified, coherent knowledge stream through all departments and functions in order to leverage the valuable technological and knowledge assets required to benefit from a strong, differentiated Intellectual Brand.

Founded in 1997 by Michael Berardini, Ph.D. and Georgia Arvanitis, Ph.D., MbGa Scientific operates with the belief that the intellectual branding requirements of smaller biotech and medical device companies are best served through creative collaboration with experienced professionals possessing deep scientific and communication backgrounds. 

From lab to language also summarizes the professional journey of the founders of MbGa. As an extension of our research focused collegiate backgrounds, we served as product development and scientific consultants in consumer healthcare. From this exposure to science with a market-oriented purpose, we gained familiarity with cross-functional business needs for scientific and technical information. Working as part of a clinical branding consortium focusing on medical devices afforded us the opportunity to produce science-based positioning platforms and messaging strategies as well as contribute to a broad clinically-oriented tactical portfolio.

Parallel to this we honed our skills at identifying hidden knowledge gaps and, employing our educational background, formulated the educational materials and language needed for broader message adoption. As our complimentary experience across disciplines grew, we added our knowledge and acumen to corporate funding and support of clinical research, establishing and managing KOL partnerships, and constructing the strategic educational initiatives needed for corporate and market leadership.
