As managing partner of MbGa Scientific, Mike Berardini, PhD, has more than fifteen years of experience consulting in medical device and consumer healthcare.  Mike's career began with design and formulation of antimicrobial drugs for consumer Oral Care. He has earned a reputation as an Oral Care subject matter expert and continues in that capacity today. In this role he is responsible for coordinating real-time scientific and technical intelligence surveys, data analysis and dissemination designed to enhance market opportunities and illuminate competitive threats. Mike has extensive experience in the development of healthcare communications, clinical and product branding programs in the biotech device industry. He has worked with global consumer healthcare leaders such as Johnson & Johnson and GlaxoSmithKline, as well as small companies and start-ups. Mike earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of New Jersey. He served as and adjunct Professor of Chemistry at the College of New Jersey for over 10 years.

 

 

Georgia Arvanitis, PhD is Senior Partner at MbGa Scientific, LLC, and a medical affairs professional focused on the development of messaging from clinical, disease state and scientific material as well as the construction of medical education and sales training platforms. As a consultant, Georgia has partnered with healthcare companies on initiatives such as key opinion leader development, as well as product marketing. She spent several years as Senior Director, Clinical Sciences and Scientific Fellow at LifeCell Corp, and was chair of the company’s program responsible for funding investigator-initiated studies. Georgia held the rank of Professor and Chair of Chemistry at the College of New Jersey. For over 20 years at TCNJ, she led curriculum development activities, and directed a well-funded academic research group that focused on biocides and antitumor drugs. Georgia received her BA in Chemistry from Barnard College, Columbia University and Ph.D. from Princeton. Her post-doctoral training included a visiting assistant professorship at Rutgers University Center for Molecular Biophysics and Biophysical Chemistry where she engaged in studies of DNA-drug interactions.

Inessa Levin is a senior level Business Strategy and Marketing Professional with over 15 years of global leadership experience in established and start-up medical device companies across multiple therapeutic areas. Uniquely qualified as a strategic as well as tactical thinker, she has held P&L responsibilities for a breadth of high revenue generating products, launched over 10 products worldwide, led numerous strategic and due diligence initiatives and managed cross-functional and global teams for Fortune 500 companies.

As President of the D&E Strategy Group, LLC Inessa Levin built a reputation among her clients for achieving high-impact results and turning around businesses by promoting new ways of looking at problems, processes, and solutions.  Ms Levin takes a broad business approach to problem-solving, which includes strategic planning, secondary data analysis, qualitative and quantitative research and interactive consultation.  Always keeping the customer in mind, she creates strategies and commercialization plans to enhance sales force effectiveness, increase customer satisfaction, and drive market penetration.
